Course Objective:
Para equestrian is an official sport of the Paralympic Games. This programme aims to identify individuals with physical disabilities who demonstrate potential in para equestrian sport and to support their development through systematic and long-term professional training. The programme enhances participants’ riding skills, physical fitness, mental resilience and competitive abilities, helping them progress along the para equestrian pathway.
Funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, this programme provides high-potential riders with ongoing training and competition opportunities, encouraging participation in para equestrian training and competitions both in Hong Kong and overseas. Through these experiences, riders gain valuable competition exposure, broaden their horizons and work towards becoming elite athletes capable of representing Hong Kong, China.
Course Frequency:
1 – 2 lessons per week (approximately 30 – 45 minutes per lesson).
